If you have been looking for a way to publish fiction on Amazon KDP without staring at a blank page, you have probably tried writing a book with ChatGPT or Claude and hit the same wall most authors hit: the AI forgets what happened three chapters ago. Names change, magic stops following its own rules, and the plot drifts into a different genre.

Urban Fantasy Royalties Bot is built to fix exactly that for one specific genre. In this review I'll walk you through what it is, who made it, every feature, how the workflow goes from idea to published book, what it really costs once you include AI usage, every upsell in the funnel and whether you need it, and who should skip it.

What Is Urban Fantasy Royalties Bot?

Urban Fantasy Royalties Bot is AI publishing software that helps you plan, write and publish urban fantasy novels: stories set in a real, modern city where magic, supernatural factions and a dangerous case are hiding just under the surface. Think wizard detectives, vampire politics and warded night markets rather than elves and castles.

It is not a generic AI chat. It runs on the vendor's Royalties Bot 2.0 platform, a guided writing workspace that takes you step by step through your concept, world, characters and chapters, keeps a Story Bible so your world stays consistent, and ends with a formatted manuscript, a cover and the assets you need to publish on Amazon KDP and Google Play Books.

The product is deliberately narrow. It is locked to plot-first contemporary city paranormal: competent adult leads, hidden supernatural rules, factions with their own agendas, clues and case pressure, with romance only as a subplot. The vendor is clear that it is not built for romantasy, LitRPG, shifter mate-bond romance or cozy-village fantasy. I like that honesty, because a tool that knows the rules of one genre usually beats a tool that tries to do everything.

Who Created Urban Fantasy Royalties Bot?

The product comes from Andreas Quintana (lead vendor, KDP strategist) and Erika Quintana (co-vendor, marketing strategist) of Quintana Marketing. They build AI publishing tools for indie authors who publish on Amazon KDP and Google Play Books.

This is not their first Royalties Bot. The series already covers niches such as diet and wellness, faith-based books, psychological thriller and alien invasion, and several earlier editions won WarriorPlus Deal of the Day. Each edition uses the same guided framework, rebuilt for the rules of a different genre. A vendor with a track record of supporting a product series is a good sign when you buy software on launch week.

Why Urban Fantasy, and Why Now?

Before talking features, it is worth asking whether this genre is a good bet, because the software is only as useful as the market you publish into.

  • Search interest has jumped. According to the vendor's Google Trends data, worldwide interest in "urban fantasy" averaged around 16 in 2021 to 2024 and around 47 from 2025 on, peaking at 100 in May 2026.
  • Amazon is still catching up. Amazon only added a dedicated Urban Fantasy category about two years ago, and the genre also lives in paranormal and mystery/thriller categories, which gives a new book more than one place to be found.
  • Big publishing is leaning in. New Dresden Files releases, vampire TV series and big-publisher vampire debuts keep the genre in front of readers.
  • Readers binge series. Urban fantasy readers tend to follow one city and one cast across many books, which rewards authors who can publish book two and three in the same world.

One caution: the sales page shows KD Spy revenue estimates for other authors' books in this genre. Those are third-party books, not books made with this software, so read them as proof of reader demand, not as a promise of income. The vendor also states that no specific income is promised.

Urban Fantasy Royalties Bot Features: What Can You Actually Do With It?

✅ Niche-locked genre frame

Everything inside the software is set up for modern city fantasy: contemporary streets, rules-based magic, supernatural factions, investigation and danger. You don't have to explain the genre to the AI every time; the frame is already there.

✅ Concept and premise guidance

You start by shaping your premise, your lead character, your city and the threat. The software guides you through these choices instead of leaving you with an empty prompt box.

✅ World frame and Story Bible

This is the heart of the product. The Story Bible records your world's rules, factions, characters and continuity, and it stays in view while you draft. Factions keep their agendas, magic keeps its costs, and the city is the same city every time your reader comes back.

Faction map of the city
Faction map of the city

✅ Series continuity across books

The Story Bible is designed to carry your world from book to book, so book two starts where book one ended instead of from scratch. For a series genre, this is the feature that matters most.

✅ Chapter-by-chapter planning and drafting

You plan each chapter's beats and draft with the Story Bible beside you, keeping clues, factions and case pressure consistent as the manuscript grows. You stay the author and make the decisions.

✅ Manuscript organization

The whole book lives in one place from start to finish, instead of being scattered across dozens of chat threads.

✅ Finished manuscript in 3 formats

When you are done, the manuscript is exported in three formats, ready to upload to the major outlets.

✅ Book covers in up to 6 styles

You can create covers in up to six styles, with more styles promised. Note that cover images need OpenAI, Together AI or OpenRouter, because Claude does not create images.

✅ Publishing assets for KDP and Google Play Books

The software helps with cover direction, keywords, the book description and export guidance, so finishing a book leads straight into getting it published on Amazon KDP and Google Play Books.

✅ Choose your AI

You connect your own API key from OpenAI, Anthropic, Together AI or OpenRouter. Your provider account stays yours, you pick the model, and you control what you spend.

✅ Bonus project kit for ChatGPT or Claude

If you don't want to set up an API key, the included bonus kit lets you use the urban fantasy writing system inside your own ChatGPT or Claude account. It includes project instructions, a genre knowledge file, a ready-to-paste setup and a step-by-step guide. ChatGPT or Claude Projects may need a paid plan with that provider.

Step-by-Step: How Urban Fantasy Royalties Bot Works

The workflow follows three stages: Plan, Write, Publish.

Step 1: Plan your book

  1. Log in to your Royalties Bot 2.0 account and connect your AI provider's API key (or use the bonus project kit in ChatGPT or Claude).
  2. Enter your concept: who your lead is, which city the story lives in, and what threat or case drives the plot.
  3. Let the software build your world frame and Story Bible: factions, magic rules, recurring characters and the case structure.

Step 2: Write chapter by chapter

  1. Plan the beats for each chapter.
  2. Draft the chapter with the Story Bible in view so continuity holds.
  3. Review and edit. You decide what stays, what changes and where the story goes next.
  4. Repeat until the manuscript is complete.

Step 3: Publish

  1. Organize and export the finished manuscript.
  2. Create a cover in one of the available styles.
  3. Prepare your keywords and book description.
  4. Upload to Amazon KDP and Google Play Books.

A Practical Example: Planning a Three-Book Series

To show how the pieces fit together, here is the kind of project the tool is designed for (an illustration, not a result I am claiming):

  • Book 1: A city warden tracks a ward-breaker through a night market. The Story Bible records the warden's abilities, the rules of the wards, the three factions that control different districts, and the clue trail.
  • Book 2: The same warden, the same city. A faction leader from book one returns with a new case. Because the Story Bible already holds the world, you start planning chapter one immediately and the magic system stays consistent.
  • Book 3: The factions collide. Your readers recognize every street and every rule, which is exactly what keeps series readers buying the next book.

With a generic AI chat, keeping three books consistent means pasting long notes into every conversation. Here, that memory is part of the workflow.

Pricing: How Much Does Urban Fantasy Royalties Bot Really Cost?

  • Front end: $17.88 one-time during launch week, then $27.
  • Optional checkout bump: Author Voice, $17.
  • AI usage: billed separately by your provider (OpenAI, Anthropic, Together AI or OpenRouter) at their own rates. A ChatGPT Plus or Claude Pro subscription does not include an API key.

How much you spend on AI depends on the model and the length of your books. Cheaper models keep costs low; premium models cost more per book. If you want to avoid API billing entirely, use the bonus project kit inside the ChatGPT or Claude plan you may already pay for.

My Honest Thoughts About Urban Fantasy Royalties Bot

What I like most is the focus. Most AI book tools try to write every genre and end up writing none of them well. This one knows the rules of urban fantasy and, more importantly, gives you a Story Bible that keeps your world consistent across chapters and books. That is the single biggest weakness of writing fiction with plain AI chat, and it is what this product is built around.

The price is fair for what you get at launch. The two things to go in with open eyes about are the separate AI costs and the fact that you still have to steer the story. If you want a hands-off book generator, this isn't it, and that's probably for the best: books written with an author making the decisions tend to read better and hold up better with readers.

This is a first look based on the vendor's sales page, JV page and product details. I'll update this review after spending more time inside the software.

Who Should Consider Urban Fantasy Royalties Bot?

Perfect for:

  • KDP authors who want to add a fiction series to their catalogue
  • Writers who already use AI but struggle with continuity across chapters
  • Fans of urban fantasy who want to publish in the genre they read
  • Owners of other Royalties Bots who want a second catalogue lane
  • Authors who also want to publish on Google Play Books, not just Amazon

Not ideal for:

  • Romantasy, LitRPG, shifter romance or cozy fantasy writers
  • Anyone who wants a fully automatic, push-button book
  • People who don't want to pay for any AI usage on top of the purchase (unless you use the ChatGPT/Claude kit)
  • Low-content or activity book publishers (this is a fiction tool)

Conclusion: Is Urban Fantasy Royalties Bot Worth It?

If you want to write urban fantasy and you plan to publish more than one book in the same world, yes, it is worth it at the $17.88 launch price. The genre frame and Story Bible solve the real problem with AI fiction, the workflow takes you all the way to a publishable manuscript and cover, and you keep control over both the story and your AI costs.
